Overview
"Across painting, photography, sculpture, and video, Flow traces the artists' shared themes of transformation, rhythm, and change."

This exhibition showcases twelve artists whose works embody flow, either through their creation, or from the images, forms, and sensations they evoke. Across painting, photography, sculpture, and video, Flow traces the artists' shared themes of transformation, rhythm, and change.

This exhibition spans work from the early 1960s, from Colin McCahon and Toss Woollaston, to newly created artworks from practicing artists. The interpretation of 'flow' celebrates a range of disciplines, from Andrew Drummond's kinetic, balancing sculpture, to the mesmerising flow of Ben Pearce's hand-carved brass wave-forms; from the poured resin in Dale Frank's work, to the kiln-formed glass of Te Rongo Kirkwood's Meremere.
